What is the solution your donor provides? What will her dollar do?
If you did step 1 right (identifying the problem), step 2 should be easy. You should already know the solution.
The challenge comes down to how you present your solution.
"Your gift will make dreams come true."
"Your gift will provide hope."
These are horrible solutions. But they're used ALL THE TIME.
Conceptual solutions hurt your performance.
Your donor always asks, "Why should I give to you instead of any other nonprofit?" A compelling solution will always be clear.
